I have spent a few hours over the past two weeks learning the basics of photogram methods.
We took Ilford photographic paper and experimented with exposure times on the overhead lamps.
We place objects over our paper and allow light to be exposed in intervals upon the paper; following this procedure we then placed our exposed papers into a series of chemical trays.
We could observe our paper changing to reveal the image as the chemicals react with the surface of the photographic paper.
